Pattern Description

This lacy afghan block is also good for scarfs, shawls, table runners and even whole tablecloths depending on your yarn/thread choice.

To give you an idea of scale in worsted weight yarn using a 4.5mm (7) hook, it measures 20cm x 20cm (8″ x 8″) and using size 10 crochet  cotton  and a 2.25mm (B-1) hook, it measures 9.5cm x 9.5cm (3.75″ x 3.75″).

I’ve listed this as an intermediate pattern by the Craft Yarn Council standards because it’s not repetitive, but it works up quickly and most of the rounds are simple.

I’ve done my best to make sure there aren’t ant mistakes in this pattern, but if you find one, or something isn’t clear, please let me know and I’ll correct it as soon as possible.
